Social Media Manager

As a fast growing independent agency, Atomic is rapidly expanding its team with a number of new exciting positions - one of which is Social and Content Manager. This is a chance to work across a wide variety of exciting brands spanning B2B, Recruitment, Sport, Tech and Consumer areas.

We are seeking someone who has a passion for crafting social copy and is creative by nature. This is an opportunity to join an ambitious team, who are building a world-class agency with an international reach.


  • Copywriting for client social channels

  • Absorbing long form, sometimes complicated content and distilling it into attention-grabbing, digestible social copy

  • Developing content plans and calendars

  • Implementing SEO best practices in all content

  • Liaising with media agencies and clients on a daily basis

  • Creating compelling and useful blog content

  • Managing and creating content for agency social accounts

  • Be familiar with social analytics and Google Analytics

  • Reporting on performance

  • Some website administration will also be required

A Suitable Candidate:

  • 2+ years experience in a relevant role

  • Experience of managing social media and digital media.

  • Experience in content creation for digital channels.

  • Familiar with the latest social media tools and trends

  • A 3rd level qualification in digital marketing or relevant field.

  • A process-driven approach, mindset and methodology.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to take ownership of project funnel and build strong client trust.

  • 3rd Level Education in marketing/advertising/digital and/or social media management experience in a previous agency, business, organisation, charity or online publisher.

  • Upbeat and fun to be around for clients and colleagues alike.

  • A second language after fluent English
