Actually there's very little madness so far this March. The FBI are still trying to get Apple to give them access to people's phones, rumours of Apple getting rid of the headphone jack are still doing the rounds, the Foo Fighters are definitely not breaking up and Trump looks like he's going to win the GOP nomination. So everything is cool. Because snow in March isn't, like, a sign or anything.
Used to be if you had an issue with Mac gear you had to go on their insufferable help forums. I say insufferable because they're full of fanboys who are way too cool to be helpful. Not any more! They're on Twitter
While Chick-Fil-A aren't the first restaurant chain to introduce a system that asks customers to put their phone away, the way they're doing it is pretty cool. And let's be honest, phones while we're eating is an issue.
It feels like every week another brand is out to proof me wrong about VR not exploding in 2016. Which isn't a bad thing. McDonald's in Sweden have just launched a new Happy Meal box that turns into a VR viewer. Pretty cool.
I'm a huge fan of the idea of mobile wallets. Anything that means I can carry less stuff and make small payments quickly is a winner. So hearing that Google are working on a new Hands Free payment system does it for me.
This week's covetable item is another watch. Are you noticing a theme here? I'm a bit of a watch freak. And I love this Timex. It's all dials and hands and whatnot, but it's effortlessly cool. And at about €80 it's very affordable
Apple will unveil the new iPad, a smaller iPhone and a few other bits and pieces on the 21st of March, according to Buzzfeed. So if you're an Apple fan in need of a new device, you might mark the date in your diary.
Like me you'd probably forgotten about Hubble. Well it's just found a new galaxy and it's far, far away. GZ-N11 is in fact 13.4 billion light years away. That's the furtherest away galaxy ever observed. And that is really cool
It's amazing to think that we can observe and find new galaxies so far away. And that we can pick up a piece of moulded plastic that has some circuits in it and talk to friends in family in places like Australia, without much trouble. So if we can do all that now, what will we be able to do in another 30 years. What a time to be alive.
